All,
I'm going to take another direction with my system. As such I'm going to sell most of the livestock, rock, and some of the equipment. I'd like to sell corals first, then get people interested in fish and live rock lined up, hopefully, to all come over on the same day (netting fish in a tank this big is 100% impossible without taking it down so I'd like to do all the fish on the same day) so I can just take the system down and net the fish partially drained with no rock to get in the way.
I have a bunch of small, random, not particularly valuable frags. Zoanthids, Xenia, GSP, photosynthetic gorgs, orange monti cap, stuff like that. These will all be freebies if you buy something else or $10 a pop otherwise.
See photos below for reference to the numbers listed here. Many of the frags and some of the other livestock you can see do not belong to me, so ask if you see something unlabeled before assuming it's for sale.
To save me from typing it each time, all gorgs are photosynthetic.
1) Branching hammer, the common green/purple coloration. Probably about a foot across. It was ~20 heads when I bought it last year, not sure now - probably between 30 and 40. It's so well extended that I can't count. $75
2) Spiny orange sea rod gorg $20
3) Green sinularia, probably 4" tall $15
4) Knobby Sea Rod, probably 6" tall $10
5) Black Sea Rod, giant colony, one of my favorite gorgs. Very fast grower, pale silvery polyps $30
6) Yellow Sea Feather gorg, fairly large colony $15
7) Green polyp toadstool, small colony $10
8) Large colony of unknown hard coral, probably blue coral (Heliopora). Growing in a massive form and throwing up lobes. Grows fairly quick but definitely not invasive. Gets really cool silvery polyps. $25
9) The largest chunk of GSP you've ever seen. Pieces will be freebies with other purchases if you want some or we can work it out if that's all you want.
10) This is a cool rock. Has big green palys on it (I think they're a named variety but I don't really follow fad names), a blue/orange ricordea, and a giant colony of "Gary's Gorg." Also it's got some really cool yellow sponge and other hitchhikers on it. This came out of a live rock vat with these corals all on it and it's the only piece of "real" live rock in my system. $25
11) Big rose BTA. $50 alone, or paired with clowns (see below)
12) Medium green BTA. $25 alone, or paired with clowns (see below)
13) Large colony of purple plume gorg. Another of my favorite gorgs. Gets covered with really cool polyps but also goes dormant pretty regularly. $20
14) Purple sea feather gorg, fairly large colony. $15
15) Purple sea rod gorg colony. $15
X) Somehow not visible in any of the pictures, a ~5 head colony of common frogspawn. $20
X) Visible here and there, I have LOTS of Gary Gorg. Big pieces, small pieces, medium pieces, all kinds. Priced by size (say, $5 - $25) or smaller ones are free if you buy something else.
As mentioned above I have a pair of clowns, they are Fiji Barberi clowns (A. barberi). These are a species that was described a few years ago in the tomato complex and are supposedly like a tomato but not quite as aggressive. They've never really picked on other fish except for a poor blue throat trigger that kept trying to hide in "their" cave. I've had them for a few years, from being wild caught juvies. They spawn regularly. They host in the rose and green BTAs mentioned above. I'd like $60 for the pair, but would strongly prefer someone take them with one or both anemones and will give a discount to support that.
If people coming for corals are also interested in rock I can pull some out and price per piece. The rock is all MMLR that's been in-system for ~2 years. Mostly very big pieces, fairly porous, most either branch or plate structures. Probably around $1 per pound
That's it for now. Prefer payment via paypal or cash. First paid, first served, I prefer not to hold livestock on a promise. I live in the boonies to the southeast of Syracuse, about a half an hour from the city.
