Switching gears, lots of stuff FS

I've had a person from Buffalo and a person from Rochester PM me about coming out already. Maybe you could hitch hike with one of them or get them to bring stuff back? I haven't sold any of the gorgs yet, if you seriously wanted them all I'd cut you a discount.

If you have any gorgs left and know who from Buffalo is going, feel free to PM me with the particulars, and if not, good luck with everything for the new build.

I might do a drive by.......lol
Just kidding!

Needless to say I am very intrigued as is everyone else viewing this thread.

Zooman, the Buffalo buyer backed out. There is a deal pending that includes the gorgs, if that falls apart I will let you know.

And yes, I will post here once plans are in motion.

amazing prices. where was this idea of yours 2 months ago when I was building and buying all this stuff on my own???

bump for some great deals.

Der_wille what do you have left as far as livestock? Any chance of getting a pic of the frogspawn youre offering? Also, do you have any lighting for sale im in the market for an upgrade in the lighting department.

All livestock and live rock gone or pending. Equipment listed on prior page, pretty much all still available. No lighting except the DIY RB LEDs I listed.

I should have taken a closer look at the lights when I was there. If some are still available let me know. I am considering replacing some of my T5s. I have a DIY T5 fisture, would a stick fit in in the space of a T5 reflector? Would 4 sticks replace 2 48" T5?

Dave

A few people have asked about the LEDs. The heatsinks are wider than a standard T5 reflector so that would be tight. And just to make sure everyone understands, these are "raw" DIY parts - a heatsink with LEDs wired together and optics. There's no driver or controller or anything like that.

Still have that water mixing contraption? My DIY setup is failing. PM me if available. I might be able to help take that off your hands.

Nate, things are settling in great, thanks again.

And Scott, I know what the plans are for the tank.. hahahahahaha

Still waiting to hear about these new plans....(impatiently taps foot...)

I figured everyone had guessed or knew by now. It's going to be planted freshwater. Simpler, fewer headaches, less expense, less stress.

I'll post updates once I get started if people want to see the progress but first I've gotta sell off this equipment!

Cliff notes of what is left:

1) Older Reeflo Dart $100
2) VFD Closed Loop (read earlier post for info): $300
3) BRS RO/DI $125 or parted out:
-$25 for the relatively new membrane (maybe 4 or 5 weeks old)
-$25 for the DI "add-on" cartridge/bracket/NEW bag of DI resin
4) Water mix/change station (two brutes, plumbing, external pump) $75
5) 75g plywood/epoxy sump with 2" bulkhead and triple baffle $75
6) Misc test kits, refractometer, bulk carbon, gfo media, etc.

Not really a fan of cichlids. Probably going to stick with the basics. A hundred or so tetras/rasboras/danios. A few rainbows, gouramis, angels. Stuff like that.
