Switching salts

I currently am getting OUT of the cycle stage and have been using HW marine reefer salt to cycle my DT and QT tanks...My question is ..My LFS only carries reef crystals and Red Sea ..I ran into the issue this weekend to where I didn't know if I would have enough salt to finish off my 40 gallon Brute trash can to keep the right salinity with the HW...I luckily had enough to get it right but then thought what if?....ive had no problems with salt but if I need to make 5 gallons on a whim I'm ****ed??..should I switch to the LFS brand or just buy in bulk

It is not that big of a deal to switch salt brands, particularly with a new tank.

I would do only 10% water changes until you reach 100%
