switching sumps

I'm in the process of switching sumps which will take a few days, how long can I go without a sump and skimmer just a seio 2600 circulating water?

there are those more knowledgable than me, but it would seem the main concern would be oxygen depletion since you have no turnover of the water

when I had to repair my tank I did the powerhead thing for almost two weeks

but that was a 20L and not a 180

I'd scoot the seio up a little higher so it breaks the water surface a bit more. Have a maxi around to hang on the edge and attach an air tube to the output attachment so it shoots some air bubbles?

If it makes you feel anymore comfortable, when the power went out here a year ago in June or July, my 240 went for for 4-5 days with just intermittant bubbling from two airstones and my SCUBA tanks. I turned it on and bubbled it for about 30 minutes every 2-3 hours. Everything was fine and I had no ill effects whatever. I think you'd be fine for at least a few days but I would do as Roy says and move the pump up the break the surface.

Same here when I had a sump start leaking on me I went a week without it on there, I would say watch the top of the water if you have stagnant protein buildup it makes it really hard for the water to get oxygenated, so something breaking the surface should do the trick.
