Swollen acro?!

i guess i have a blue staghorn acro and i put it in the tank few days ago.

it was doin kinda well with pe and bright color. but this morning i figure out there's a swollen part on a branch. what is that? i'll tryin to get some pictures to tell well about the story.

what caused it?

what is your CA++ reading at ? most of the times its a sign of ca++ being low, or some sort of skeleton disease [rarely seen] ...

a pic would help alot.

Do you have a blue staghorn or not? Kidding aside.... It's hard to diagnose your problem without more info.

Tank Volume? Lighting? Flow? NO3, PO4, KH, Magnesium, calcium, salinity, etc?
Most of all a pic of the coral would go a long way also.

That is a reaction to stress, probably lighting. The polyp extention is good, I wouldnt worry about it for now.

It could be just about anything. It could even be the barnacle on the bottom of the branch. I agree to leave it alone and just observe it for now.
