Swollen lump on crosshatch trigger?

My male crosshatch trigger has been acting weird the last couple days and won't eat and the wife noticed a lump on him.It is on both sides and looks like a mosquitoe bite under the skin.Don't really know if it is anything but i would like to find out.It is not huge.Just protruding a little and it is right behind his eye above his fin on the side right at the top by his spine.Is looks to be the size of a quarter and only looks like it sticks out maybe 1/4".And is is pretty noticable.Any Ideas.Should i maybe treat with a medication.Also it is a 210 gallon tank.

with no picture and your description i dont think anyone could have helped plus the fact that he died 1 day after you posted it seems he had a fatal malady

Yeah i know.just ticked about the whole situation and how fast everything came about.Alot of money down the tube.

well i tried to do a necropsy myself and i think it was either a tumor or some type of internal bleeding.On both spots on the side of his head were two small patches of colleted blood that looked like what a humun tumor would look like.Or from what i have seen.other than that everything else in there looked normal or what i can for see as normal.
