Syracuse Frag Swap @ Home?

So when I first got into this hobby I lived out in the Albany area. The Capital area club would have frequent frag swaps at club members' homes. Instead of a huge turnout at a commercial venue, these were much smaller affairs with beers and people trading a baggy with a colored stick here and there.

Why doesn't this happen in the Syracuse area? If I opened up my home, would people be interested in doing something like this (I live in Pompey/Manlius)?

I figure it's the best way to get some really smart and learned hobbyists to look at my setup for a free consultation!

I miss those days it was a little more personable. the problem is people always wat to set tanks up and most of us dont have the space for it. I thought about doing a little mini meet this summer myself just not sure about the logistics yet.

Pre arrange buys or swaps. Everyone shows up with an igloo cooler (or 2? 1 empty, 1 with cold beers). Shoot the breeze. Home. Done!

Summer's tough. Seems like something every weekend, but we've got all the time in the world. We'll make it happen sooner or later!
