System wiped

Pearfish

My clownfish system had been completely wiped. Fish died. I went out of town for two days. I dont get it all parameters were within limits besides low ph. Fish breathing heavy not eating. This mever happed before. I instantly added air and ph buffer and alk. Nothing had helped. Just gave up clownfish breeding in thw worst possibles way. Always kept up with everything. Any ideas in such a sudden drop in ph to kill fish within 24-28 hrs. I need to learn from this bad experience. Please no harassing comments. It was an honest mistake and i dont need any harmful comments in a tough time. Ive owned tanks for 10 years and never had a problem like this ever. Didn't even know what to do with it.

I checked the ammonia and according to the api test kit it was sitting at 0ppm. The seachem kit was out of those little discs.

More likely high Nitrates.
Very sorry to hear this, it's very upsetting I know.

My guess is low oxygen. You said "Fish breathing heavy not eating." Heavy breathing tells me low oxygen was more than likely the cause.
