T-5 active cooling and PAR

So I am in the process of ordering new fans for my ATI Sunpower, but in doing so, I am curious as to what percent increase in PAR one could see with active cooling? Obviously bulb longevity is also a benefit from active cooling. I saw one post from years ago that claimed a 15% increase in PAR was calculated from active cooling.

Active cooling brings an increase of up to 50% in regards to PAR. Bulbs also last about twice as long (12 months vs 6 months)

The sweet spot on most Sunpower fixtures is 7.5v for their fans. This keeps the cold spot right around the optimal 35°C. If your room is hot enough you may need to go to 9v but that's pretty rare

Active cooling depends on the fixture. If you don't have a canopy or splash guard it might not be necessary. The trick is having the temp of the area surrounding the bulb be 35C.

On an ATI unit with programmed start ballasts a bulb will last you at least a year.

When BRS did the sunpower fan test they found 6v to the setting to use when using the splash guard. Without the splash guard it had to be on lowest setting.
