T-5 Lighting Question

I have 2 of these T-5 light fixtures on my 29 gal tank:

Its about time for me to change the bulbs, and I'm not sure whether I should get the same bulbs that came with it, or is there better bulbs out there that I could put in.

Its a NO T5 fixture, so you can get pretty much any NO T5 bulbs. Even go to your local HD and see what kind of colors they have there. I think they only have the 6500K bulbs but sometimes they have bluer ones. There probably are better brands than Coralife. Check out hellolights.com or championlighting.com.

If you like how the coloring is just keep using the same brand.
2 other brands you can try is Giesemann & ATI bulbs.

All Ive seen of Geissman and ATI bulbs are HO bulbs.

Nice thing with the NO bulbs is you don't have to buy all of them from an aquarium site. However, the coralife bulbs are only like $7 each, so you might as well get the same ones.

my aquatinics t5 fixture has vho bulbs if im not mistaken, i believe its the ati ones. ive got 2 atinic whites and 2 blues.
