Any suggestions on the best T-5 lighting fixture. I have been researching the Current Nova 8 bulb, Aqua Medic, Aquatinics any others???

Why do some come with the bulbs and others without?

One more question, is 432 watts of T-5 better than 520 of pc??

Absolutely..

Regardless what fixture you use make sure it comes with individual reflector for each bulb.

They reflect the most light.

I have the Aquatinics and am very happy with it.

50w t5 is better than 500w powercompact inmy opinion
but you need to take the current nova and the aquamedic off your list the aquatinics is the best light sold right now in the US
and its made in conneticut so if you have warranty issues you can go to the factory and get great service

damn the ati powermodule
it is a figment of your imagination hahn we deal with this everyday it is a unicorn on north america nobody sells these thing so why bother aquatinics is king in north america lets leave it there

Not too sure about that; don’t forget TEK.

I would suggest you build a hood and use an Ice Cap retro. IC reflectors are the best you can get right now. And you could do it all for less than a fixture.

Or if you can wait a bit, look into the new ATI fixtures coming to the USA soon, if you can afford them.
