T-5's compaired to PC'S

are t 5s as good or better than PCS? and how many t 5s would you need to equill it out or vice versa? also looking for MH retro kit

i got t-5HO bulbs and i like them, but for your tank i'd recommend either going with a MH kit or t-12VHO, hellolights has some pretty good prices on retrofit kits for either of those options.

Do you plan to build the system yourself or are you looking for an assembled system from the get go?

Oh, and t5s with parabolic reflectors are a good deal more efficient than t5s.

If you get good t5s with a good reflector and good ballast you can grow sps and keep clams.
