They are out of stock on these. 2-3 weeks is what ive been told before they get the next shipment.
Who is "they"?

I run 4 T6 HO bulbs on a Icecap 660 ballast (upgraded from T12 vho) with Icecap T5 reflectors and they put out a lot of light, my neighbor has the same set up, but with T5 HO bulbs and my T6 bulbs are brighter than his T5s. The T5 reflectors will fit the T6 bulbs - just bend the clips out a little bit

Grim,

If you overdrive T5 or T6 bulbs with IC ballast, what kind of life span could be expected?

Jim

T5's I spect will go at least a year if you run fans. T6's I don't know. They are more tolerent of heat so I assume they will last longer but that is just a guess. I am trying to get you guys some more info but my source has been really busy the last month or two.

If you were switching from T12 on IC ballast, all things considered, would you go with T5 or T6?

Jim

The User Agreement prevents me from going into detail but the Brazilian Government aka Hugo Chaves, owns Citgo.
Venezuela not Brazil

J.K. Comodity Axis, is the parent company,
Do you have a link to a retail supplier of T6-VHO lighting?

On the HO 55 watts T6s you could also use a T5 54watts ballast if you want.
Will you please give me the specific brand & model?
Thanks!

They sold there last batch to All Seas Marine and they distributed them to LFS only. So maybe call ASM to find if any LFS near you bought any.

I think they might go by Helios also

Id think the next shipment well find there way to some online retailers, but that justs a guess.

Catfish lighting, gotta love the name of the company.

HO T6 is getting fairly common. The VHO's will hopefully pick up in a few months. I am back to T5's for now.

Yeah but I am on the German T5's now. The T6 are OK as a low cost alternative to T5 but they can't touch T5's for efficiency at this point.
