T. crocea adherence to rock substrate

I recently purchased 2 3" crocea clams with what appears to be intact bysuss glands.
Both have been placed on rocky substrate. Does any one know how long it usually takes for them to adhere to the substrate?

depends on if they are content with their location. can be a few days, can be never.
