T. Max not looking so good

I've had my T.max for almost 2 years now. for the last week or so I have noticd he has been kind of pinched not fully open. last night when I came home I found him laying on his side not attached to the roock at all I pulled him out and made sure there wasn't any pests on him but didn't find any. He looks the same today will he reattach?

if in good health the the clam will reattach. does it look like pinched mantle or is the clam just not opening all the way??
