T5 3:1 light cycle?

Hello all, as we decided as a team not to long ago I went with everyone suggestions of ati 3:1 blue:12k. - next question? How long should my light cycle be? Currently at 7hrs - I house a mixed reef
Doggies, Lps, and sps

i woulkd suggest increasing it to about 12 hrs.

Increase it slowly, maybe an hour a week so as not to cause undue stress on the corals.

That's crazy lol - judging from your past pics on here, I am going to go with it- I have about 10 turbos an 10 hermits should I add more - 12 hr got to cause some Albee growth- normal h20 parameters no nitrates etc phosphates under .025 ca 450 mg 1300 pk 9-10 ph8.3 sal 1.024 - anything I should twecks

my lights begin to come on around noon and go off completely at midnight. Have one or two bulbs come on- then another in an hour or 30 mins after those, same going off at the end of the light period.

Paul- cant have lights come on separately, its in a wavepoint fixture with one plug, so i am going to increase it by 15min/day till 11 hrs or so

Mike- sadly there is no rare livestock i am hiding from you!

I run my T5s around 12hrs total. The actinics come on 30mins before and go off 30 mins after the main 4 bulbs.

12-13 hours here as well. start coming on in pairs at 10:30 and all off by 11:00pm I added the moon lights today and they will be on 24/7 total of 16 leds. will be adding another 88 leds for dawn dusk in the next few days it should give my actinics a break since they are oo for an hour longer than the rest each day.
