T5 and lps

I plan on installing 4 individual reflector T5 over my 40g long. I have some sps up top and a clam that dove to the bottom. I also have an elegance coral, open brain lobo, plate, candy canes, zoa, etc. The tank is only 16" deep. How high should I place the lights above the tank?

On a 40 long its a fairly shallow tank so Id go somewhere around 5-6", ahh, but with some sps and a clam you probably should hang it at 5" off the waters surface actually . Unless you have a very DSB then you may want to consider 6" but wouldnt go more.
