T5 Ballasts

I am trying to figure out a lighting systyem for my shallow 50g frag tank and I am leaning towards T5, but they seem to be really overpriced.

I found this website that sells all sorts of ballasts and they had T5HO ballasts and I am wondering if I could use these instead of buying one specificly made for aquariums. Here is the website, http://www.ballastwise.com/item.asp?PID=24&FID=15&level=1

for the price you could get and Advance T5HO ballast or a work horse 5
They only lightup 2 54 watt bulbs

It I read the specs right on Ballastwise link you gave it can fire 4x54w t5's. For $50 bucks that seems like a pretty darn good price.
If you decide to order one let us know how the quality is and how it works out. Heck for that price I just might order one and find out.....hmmm now ya got me thinking about new lighting yukon.

I think they are cheap but if you want to try it and invest double if it goes wrong you could

Why wouldn't you use the worhorse 7 for that? they run about 37-38 bucks.
