T5 Bulb purchase advice

I am going to buy 8 new 60 inch 80 watt t5HO bulbs and wanted to know where is a good place to buy ATI bulbs. What combo of bulbs would you go with and in what order?

Dave at Aquapros has the best prices on ATI bulbs. Anywhere online is going to hit you with extra bulb shipping fees.

For 8 bulbs, I would probably do like 5 Blue Plus, 2 Coral Plus and a Purple Plus or Aquablue special depending on which color you would like more. I run a 6 bulb and I run 4 Blue Plus and 2 Coral Plus

The way my lights are staggered I need to do 6 blue plus 1 coral plus and one purple plus? How does that sound?

Get them from BRS. I just bought 4 48" bulbs for $63 shipped. I had free shipping for having my order over $175 and then they had 12% discount. So for the bulbs alone it was $63 which is insanely cheap.

That would work, although it will be pretty blue. The coral plus has purple in it, so maybe do an aquablue special instead of the purple plus. The beauty of it is if you want to change it up, you just need to swap one bulb.

How did you swing that? Ati bulbs are all 20+ each on brs site.

I just bought mine from AquaCave in Gurnee. I picked it up so I paid no shipping fees.

I have 4 Blue Plus, 1 Purple and 1 AquaBlue Special. My tank is in Antioch. You are more than welcome to stop by and take a look at my lights.

I would get the true actinic instead of purple plus, out of all the ati bulbs purple plus is my least favorite.

I am in a similar sitaution- trying to decide which lights to buy for my new 8*24 sunpower fixture. The last 30 pages of that have lots of useful pics and info for bulb combinations.
