I noticed that an online store is offering both Aqua Medic and Coral Vue T5 bulbs very cheap. Anyone have any experience with these? The Aqua Medic is offered in a 10k "Ocean White" and 20k "Ocean Blue", while the Coral Vue's are advertised as a 50/50 and an Actinic blue. They also sell a cheaper Pacific Coast Imports brand but I'm not at all familiar with that name.
I've always used ATI and D&D primarily because that's what was available, but I'd be willing to try one of these others if they have a similar output. My goal is to promote coloration and uniform coverage to my sps frags already under a 12k Reeflux MH by adding 1 or 2 small T5's. My main tank already uses a combination of 3x 14k MH's and several T5's with great results.
