I think that is a light everyone can agree is good for me. It has individual reflectors, but no bulbs.

Is hanging a light like this a DIY project, i mena, CAN it be?

and does anyone have 48" T5 bulbs that would sell, or trade them. Or know of a place to get them cheap. The cheapest i found were about $15 and for that price, i can get them from a good company like drfostersandsmith, they sell them for the same price almost. I am just looking, so if anybody has a lead, please elt me know

Thanks

Spend the extra couple bucks and get Giesmann bulbs. www.diyreef.com sells them pretty cheap. You only have to replace these every two years (I do mine every year) so whats five bucks to get the best?

i looked on ebay, but the thing with ebay is that you have to know exacltoy what to type in or you wont get any results....i couldnt find anything, i found like one bulb, that was it

I also recommend geisman bulbs (ati if for some reason you cant get them)

reefgeek.com and hellolights.com have been reliable for me

Wow, those lights sell for $280 locally, I wish I had the money to pick them up, since they are what I was going to end up buying.

Or you could buy my 4x54w 48" Tek Lite fixture in a week or so......:D

Assuming I get my new MH/VHO's wired up this weekend :p

Somewhere around $120 - that seems to be the going rate.
The bulbs are old and will need to be replaced.

My EuroReef RC180 arrived today - so all I'm waiting for is the Cinch Jones connectors for the quick disconnect on the lights -
And I'll finally be done with the new 150..........
Except for the closed loop with Sea Squirt, a calcium reactor,an auto dosing auto top off..............
(I don't think you're ever done with a reef tank)

Then I'll figure out how to post pics and sell all the stuff from our 90.

OMG Fuzzy, That is the exact fixture that iw as planning on spending $230 on.....i will buy that off of you if you sell it,.....please keep me updated. thanks

Fuzzy, you can go to www.photobucket.com and create a free account and up[load your pics onto there, then you just copy the link to that image onto your message and the pics come up, thats how i dop it, it is WAY easy....let me know, if you need help with that, i would be glad to help you set up an account.

Just to clarify, the light setup you are selling is 4 PC bulbs in a fixture right? No VHO's or MH hiding in there, right?

No, I just bought a new one, and now looking to get some lights that can grow SPS in my new 120gallon I'm getting that will be 25"deep. If these T-5's could handle that, I would like to be put on the list in case no else gets them, got my tax money back, so I'm ready to buy! :D
