T5 Bulbs

Just wondering if anyone has a couple 10k or 11k t5 bulbs i could try out. I need the 54 watters.

Jesus... did you ever get your T5 set up?

Yes, I did. I just need to tidy it up. Installed it Thursday. Currently running 250 phoenix 14k with DD actinic + which I was told that it was the superblue. I like the look of the tank now. Now, I am in the process of looking for a good 10K metal halide.

Maybe if Bryan is going to swing by I'll ride over with him. I'd like to check it out. Are you happy with the color? Why are you looking for 10K now? Have you considered the Iwasaki 175w 15k (very white with lot of PAR).

If you want to try the 175 out let me know, you can borrow bulb, and ballast, LIII reflector too if you need it, the bulbs are SE.

I am trying to dublicate my old set-up. When I was using 10k BLV and superblue t5. Right now the only place that carries ushio blv is premium aquatic for 90 a pop. Trying to find another bulb that has the same intensity.

Aqua cave has the Ushio 10k for $69. Im going to order my bulbs from them.

Was more interested on 10k BLV which is 12k I think. Or something similar.
