i am thinking about trying to upgrade to a 90 gallon tank, from a 55 and i am wanting to switch from vhos to t5's.

i was just wondering if anyone has t5s on a 90 and what their success was like and if anyone has ever bought anything from aquauniverse.com

I just bought Tek T5's from Jim here on the boards, the 6 bulb unit. I am going to be running them on a 90g that I bought off Jim as well. He told me that he was able to keep clams no problem under these T5's. It will be a while before I am able to tell you any experience stories about them but I can say that they are VERY bright and would recommend them.

i have read a few articles that people have done experiments and that they actually put out a stronger light than some of the lower wattage mh's
