Question for you T5 guys. I bought an advance ballast to run 2X39w t5ho's. But to make sure I have all the parts I need I have some q's.
1st Q. The icecap endcaps are sold with a standoff option. Is this needed to give the clip on individual reflectors to fit?
2nd Q. What holds those bulbs where you want them? The endcaps look to have mounting holes in the pics so do I have to unscrew one end each time I change a bulb or am I just not seeing a clip part out there?
3rd Q. Here's the old color one. I'm using mh's for my primary and these are going to be the dusk to dawn effect as either blue or actinic bulbs. What kind of recommendations?
4th Q. Should I run them during the mh period as well? Right now I can see an actinic effect even from my 4X55 pc actinics when the mh's are on and I "think" that these 2 t5ho's should be as strong as the 4 55w pc's. Am I correct?
