T5 Led combo

Is anyone running a combination of t5s and LEDs? I'm setting up a 120 and I already have a 4 bulb rack and I'm considering half and half. Thanks.

I use Reefbrite strip with my 6 bulb ATI. Works great.

T5's for proven growth and coloration...

Blue LED Strips ($250 total) for separate that night time 'LED Pop' = amazing glow time.

Wouldn't go back -> Best of Both Worlds!

You will be assimilated!

I have a 6 bulb t5 rack and am thinking about led for the other half on a 120. Any thoughts about half and half?

Pacific Sun make a nice fixture called Pandora and ATI is planning on releasing theirs in the U.S. in the next couple of months. These both are very expensive. Pacific Suns uses 150watt led modules coupled with 4 T-5 bulbs and ATI is going with 75 watt modules over either a 4 bulb or a 8 bulb T-5 setup.

Look up Prestige LED. They make led/t5 combos. They had an article on ************ a while back.

Has anyone tried the LED bulbs that go in place of one of the T5 bulbs? Did theses things ever sell?

This is over my 180.
4-80w T5s and 90-3w bridgelux DIY led

2-ATI Blue+
2-ATI Coral+
75-royal blue
5-420nm
10- 6500k white

(I like the 20k look, and I prefer the blue from LEDs more then the blue+ bulb.)

I have a 6 bulb LET T5 retrofit from Reef Geek, 2 Reefbrite blue led strips, and an Ecoxotic 50/50 led Panorama Pro mounted in my 150 cube canopy.

LOVE the combination.

Those Prestige fixtures are crappy... my friend bought one and it worked for about three weeks. Plus the owner just sold the patent/company to someone else.

Growth and coloration has been pretty great. I can't really complain too much there
