t5 lighting for a lps-only tank

I have a 45 gallon LPS -only reef (36L X 12W X 24H) lit by 2 X 96W PC lighting. Under the current lighting my corals are surviving OK but not growing, and 1 of the hammers is even bleaching a little. (I do feed my corals about 1x week, but the hammers and frogspawn don't seem to accept the food).

I want to upgrade my lighting to a Aquatinics 5 X 39W t5 fixture. Opinions? Too much light? How do your LPS like the t5 lighting?

The Aquatinic fixture looks like a great fixture. You might need to start off with only 2 or 3 bulbs though to see how the corals will react. Using all 5 bulbs should be too much, especially coming from 2 PCs. You might even need to dampen the lights with some screens or using the glass lid. However, having 5 bulbs allows for future ventures into SPS, so this is a nice option.

I'm currently using 4 T5s on a Teklight and I'm keeping LPS and SPS such as montis, milles, frog spawn, chalice, and sun coral.

I am in the process of switching to my Aquactinics fixture (48" on a 90 gal). I started out with the whites only on for 4 hours a day. I'm increasing that by 30 minutes every few days until it hit 8 hours.

So far, the LPS are doing just fine. One of my trumpets shrank up a little, but it usually does that whenever there is a change. I think it will be fine in a couple weeks.
