Aquactinics fixtures have gotten good reviews, and Sunlight Supply Tek fixtures seem okay as well. How big is the tank?

That's a reasonable size for T5, and I think the 48" models might be appropriate. Aquactinics runs about $350 plus shipping. If that's out of your budget, a Tek system might be cheaper.

Beware the Nova systems don't use individual reflectors which is what makes T5's so efficient.

I have the nova I agree it really needs the individual reflectors. I changed mine and it seems to have doubles the intensity

Things to keep in mind for T5's

1- Need Individual reflectors

2- Need to be kept around 90-92 degrees (units nees a fan). If heat increases in a hood above this range, the PAR of the light has been reported to fall off as much as 20%.

Other'n that, I bought my T5 unit at www.aquactinics.com and am very happy with the unit. www.reefgeek.com has also had good reviews here.
