Iv always just ignored sps and anemones because I didnt think I have enough light but my family wont quit bugging me about getting a clown. I know this question must have been asked a hundred times so I apologize in advance. . .

Which (clownfish hosting)species can survive or even thrive under T5 and pc lighting . . . if any

thanks for any advice

I have a RBTA under PC. Lost it's bubble tips a while back, never moves now, and is HUGE. I feed it a silverside 2x a week. It's 1/2 of one I cut a few months back...Now it's the original size of the one I cut...12+ inches! RBTA are very easy (IMO).

125 gallon

I have Nova Extreme t5s on half the tank and pc on the other.
It will all be nova extreme in a week

Go for the RBTA- try to find one that is tank raised, i.e., an "offspring" of an anemone that someone or a LFS has in their tank. Much better odds of having it thrive. Try to get one at least 3x the size (expanded) of the clowns you intend to purchase or allow it to grow before getting the clowns. Good Luck.

Or a GBTA ;) The RBTAs might be more pricey and rare, but I love my green. It's huge and healthy under my T5s.
