T5 Questions

Hi all.
Time to replace the 260 watt pc bulbs over my 55, and i'm thinkin about getting a sunlight supply 4 bulb t5 fixture.
I only have 1 sps thats high up in the tank, the rest is shrooms, zoos, lps, leathers.

What 4 bulbs would give me the best coloration and growth of the corals? I was thinking 2x aquablue, and 2x blue plus.

Also, whats the cheapest place to order from? I found this site, that has the fixture (no bulbs) for 245.99 free shipping.

Thanks

Thanks jawaiianmon for the link. I"ll probably get the fixture from them.
Erndodstrom - any chance you'd have a pic of that bulb config over your tank?
Thanks

I think i'll be ordering from those guys with the price match from seedsetc (aqualux is 289 and seedsetc is 230)
I'll also be going with the recommended:

seedsetc is where I got mine from, but there is another dealer selling for even less from time to time...$200 if I remember right.

Anyways, I was going to add, if you dont mind looks (like if you are going to mount it in a canopy) you can get the new wave fixtures for even less (sometimes half). They are just more utilitarian looking versions of the tek, but with the same reflectors and ballasts.

For my tek, I have 6 bulbs...using 2 of each...Geisemann aquablue, Geisemann blue+, actinic03 (just no 6500K). It gives a look very similar to the 14,000K halide I have on another tank.

If I had to do just 4 bulbs, I would do one actinic03, 2 blue+, and one aqua blue for a nicer blue look. For a more daylight look, one of each type...aquablue, blue+, actinic03, 6500K.
