T5 set up for 20" deep tank?

Hi everyone, I hope all is well,

I am looking to change lights and I was wondering if any one has had success with t5 lights over a BTA, Zoa and shroom tank?
I would like to go with a 24" 4 bulb set up (96w total), but do not know if that is enough.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yea, my tank is a 39g CAD sig tank that is 21" deep, 20" deep at sand level.

I've been doing similar research and it sounds like the ATI 24" 4 bulb fixture will be plenty.

Never cared for a BTA but I have been researching nems for while and it seems BTAs should do fine under T5's provided you have a quality fixture that contains individual reflectors for each bulb. Good bulbs would help as well to increase PAR. The BTA will find an area in the tank where the light is right.

Thanks for the reply, I think a 4 bulb t5 set up would work as well as the 150w HQI set up I currently have, but I just want to make sure before I make the jump.

Any other input from people who have t5 and nems?
