THAT IS A BADAZZ LFS!

What do you pay for a yellow tang or one of the acro colonies?

yellow tank is about 34 $US. higher or lower than your country?

Very nice apinun, there are pics of 3 different shops there, bankokmatt and I visit them regularly, we dont know the shop names so we make up our own names depending on the staff in the shop, pretty funny.
The shop where the two yellow tangs and the hippo are in the display was where I got my purple gigantea from, Ha!

Interesting. Sounds like the prices on livestock in Thailand are pretty close to the US. Thought they might be less since you are much closer to collection areas...

Don't know where you got the fake part from...I for one never said anything about fake or T5's for that matter.

I asked about the saturation because the pictures are super saturated.

Nice tank :)

That's pretty harsh ... especially coming from a Canadian. Obviously you haven't been "exposed" to countries that doesn't use English as their First language???

If you can see anthias in my tank (orange one not a square anthias) How much in US? In thai land it's about 0.8 $US. I think all of yellow tank is imported from oversea but some local fish and coral is very cheap.

All of coral in my tank are not a local because in local sps have only 2 color brown and green ha ha .

chingchai how much a sps coral cost in thailand?

I pay US$30-200 per piece depending on size, shape, color etc.
I used to pay US$400 per piece five years ago when SPS is not so popular.:hammer:

WOW! Thank you for the responses and inside info everyone! Can you dive and collect your own? Are there restrictions to collecting coral and fish? How is the diving and coral in the Gulf of Thailand? I have so many questions!!! Pics have got me excited.

Collection of hard corals is prohibited in Thailand. That's not to say it doesn't happen. I believe the collection of fish is also prohibited.
Diving is ok in the Gulf of Thailand but nowhere near as good as on the West coast which is the Andaman Sea. There are some amazing spots there, world class.
I was diving recently with a 7m whale shark!!!
