t5 upgrade question

I just upgrade from 4X65 watt PC's to 4X54 watt T5s...What do you think is the best way to adjust my corals to the light change? I was running 2X 10000K PC's and 2X actinics, now have 2 aquablue plus one 75/25 UVL and one actinic white

I have softies (mushrooms, gsp) two brains, platygurus, digi's, bird nest, cup coral, candy canes, no hard core sps's....Oh, it is a 60 gallon 48 long 18 inch deep....I have a couple of layers of regular window screen on top of the tank right now to cut down some of the brightness, but what would you suggest? Thanks in advance...

Depends on the fixture used. I would cut down the photo period for about 1 week. You should be fine after that.

It's a reefgeek retro, not sure if its LET or ATI or whatever, bought it second hand...cutting down photo period sounds good...

I did the same thing a few months ago. I just watched the reaction of my corals to the new light. I ended up moving a mushroom to the sand bed as it stopped opening up fully. Everything else was fine. It was fine after few days in the new spot.
