What do you guys think?
I run 4 hours or SPS AB+ then 4 hours of SPS PHX14 program along with two 48" T5's. The Radions are 16" off the water and are set to 70 max intensity. The T5's are one ATI Coral Plus and one ATI Blue Plus. They are 10"- 12" off the water. The Radions are slightly forward and centered while the T5's are all the way upfront. The T5's are retrofit with reflectors.
I also tested the lights with just LED, just T5 and on each LED program separately to see if there was a difference. When the T5's or the LEDs are turned off I get just about half the PAR. There is only a 1% difference in PAR between the two LED programs but I can see the color shift with the naked eye. Here is all of that if you can read my chicken scratch.
I'm thinking of cranking up the LEDs by 3-5% per week until the top acro that's 300 PAR now is 350 and hopefully the bottom values will go up proportionally also. That would bring almost all of the coral between the magic numbers of 200-350. Thoughts?
