T5's for a 40g breeder

I keep lps and sps corals. I dont know anything about T5's except that they make a lot less heat and use less energy than MH lighting. I have a 250w de 14k hamilton over my tank now and I want to build a T5 fixture for it. I want it to have less par than my current setup. How many bulbs/accessories do I need and how much would all this stuff cost? Any info is appreciated.

Do a 4 bulb IC retro from Reefgeek.com. It would cost you like $320.00 with your choice of bulbs. If you dont want retro try the aquatinics 5 bulb fixture. Its not overdrivin and costs the same as the retro. Both should work for what you want.
