okay i would like some help i have a 220 gallon tank 72 inch long 30 inchs deep width 24 inchs everyone is saying the only way to go is mh im affraid the tank will get to hot because of location there are some people saying t5s i would love to go t5s oh there is no hood and this will be a mixed reef also there is a guy on here that won tank of the month his tank is 96" longx48"deep 30"width he is running all t5 h o bulbs this is very important to me i really need to know what u all think thanks the newbie

What exactly is the question here?? MH or t5 will work for you. There are advantages to each, but it will mostly come down to personal preference...

Yes, it's a matter of making sure you have enough bulbs with enough power to reach the bottom of the tank, but a lot of people go with strait T5 instead of MH.
