Table saw with acrylic blade?

Hey guys, I've got a skimmer cup that I need to modify. I just need to slice one edge off and replace it with new acrylic but I don't have the saw anymore.

Anyone got one that I could come use for 5-10 minutes?

I need to flush cut a three-sided object so I can glue a new cup wall. I suppose I could dremel it but I'd have to sand the living guano out of it.

ah true but dremel has a table to make clean cuts if ya had it. i have the tools but not the table which would make it fast n easy

Okay - should I figure out how to get the thing cut, is there a local source for Weld-On?

Doug I have a table saw with laminate/plastic blade on..I really like using a miter saw lately though so cut is completely straight..A router will give you a cleaner cut that can be glued w/o any prep to edge..I have a router on a makeshift table with a acrylic bit on it already..YES there is a local source for weldon ..Craftics plastics is very near SWR just off of menaul..Your more than welcome to use my tools if you need to!!

weld on 3 work best, i used that to build my 270gallon acrylic frag tank. my tank is been up and running for 7 months, no leak and still running strong. you can get them at craftics plastics as mention above or southwest acrylic on princeton and candalaria near SWR too. you also need a syringe bottle to apply the liquid to your acrylic. if you need some weld on 3 or the syringe bottle let me know. still has plenty left from my last project.

Nothing too exciting here. We have an Oceanic HQI 29. Is bought a Tunze 9002 skimmer to replace the stock unit but the skimmer doesn't fit in the center chamber because of the HQI fixture. I moved it to the corner of the tank but the stock cup doesn't work. Media baskets sells a replacement cup, made by InTank, but it doesn't quite fit either. I cut it down to allow it to fit where I wanted it to fit without much in the way of tank modifications.

I'll try to get a picture later.
