Tahitian Black Moon Substrate?

I was wondering if the Carib-Sea product would be fine for my new nano tank?

Its jet black, so it would really bring out the contrast of my rocks and fish.

Because it is not a live sand, will this take much longer to cycle my tank?

Yes, it should be just fine.

Your tank should cycle fine as long as you have the live rock to seed it. Tons of people buy bags of sand and let thier rock do the work.

Yes that sand is just fine, I would give it a good rinse to get the dust off of it, but I have used it in several tanks, and its just fine for a dry sand, it will seed over time with liverock in the tank.
