Tail fin re-growth

A new Wrasse has been in the quarantine for 2 weeks. His tail fin is a little beat up, about 1/8-1/4" shorter in one area. How long should it take for the fin regrow?? Shouldn't is see some growth by now??

don't worry about it too much. It will regrow and I don't believe there's much you can do about how long that will take. It will take as long as it takes.

I am just worried that it might be fin rot or some other nasty thing

If your water quality is on par and the fish shows a healthy appetite, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on it as you have been and start to worry if it gets worse.
