tail spot blenny pair

I currently have a tail spot blenny. Had him a couple months. The LFS has one available. Would two tail spot blennies do okay together or would they annihilate each other? Also, can you tell the females from the males?

Sorry about butting in but I just had to say that these are one of my favorite fish. Active, comical, interesting looking, decent herbivores, and peaceful, what more could you ask for?

OP: I am no expert. I only have one data point (two in a 125 gal and they ignored each other). I personally have always had just one of these guys.

Male/female will get along fine. Same sex, one may bully the other and never let it eat.

What size tank?

I've got a pair that I bought from DD months ago. They spawn in a barnacle all of the time. The male has 2 "streamers" on this tail fin. Otherwise, they regularly beat the crap out of each other. Very funny to watch and protective of their "turf" in a 75 gallon relatively peaceful community tank.

i have one and at first i thought it would disappears in my 250 reef, but the little fella is constantly around and grazing. very cool personality. i am thinking getting a few more
