yes, malanarus is the species name , it has many common names. it is a beautiful fish, but that one is not mine. i want to get one so that is why i am asking :)

I've had one for about a year, and I've only caught him picking on hermit crabs and stomatellas. He doesn't bother my cleaner shrimp. I want to get a pistol shrimp to pair with a Goby but I don't trust him with a small one.

He is a cool fish. His mouth is so small that he can't eat bigger pieces of food, so he flicks the pieces on a rock so they break up and he eats the pieces.
