Taking apart tank

Im taking apart tank, and im trying to take the sand out the bottom, but cant anymore. Iv tried spoon, iv tried holding it upside down with my brother, how the heck do you get the sand off the bottom glass? Do you take it out grain by grain?

take it outside, have someone hold it upside down and blast the inside with a hose, fast and effective
