Taking care of sponges

I was given several great looking sponges when I got my live rock from TBSaltwater... They look great in the tank, but I know sponges can be difficult to take care of. Normally I try to do some research before I put something in the tank so I know that I can take care of it, but I wasn't expecting these, so I really know nothing about keeping a sponge healthy. Any suggestions about water flow, lighting, food, etc would be quite helpful.

Thanks much:)

Yeah, that's my tank. The sponges have only been in there since last night (and I was very careful not to expose them to any air), so I'm hoping to do my research now so I can keep them looking that way.

And many thanks for the links, cloak... I've spend this past 45 minutes or so reading through them... Very helpful information

All I can say is that is an AMAZING tank. For some reason sponges just give me the huge wow factor.

I currently have a sponge in a 10g QT. I have been feeding it Reef Nutrition Phytofeast daily and it's doing good. But...I am doing bigger water changes to keep water quality high. I find them very intriguing and using the QT to monitor them before they hit my DT. Gonna follow along since this is my first sponge.
