Taking suggestions for final stocking

BRILLIANT!
I've been slowly stocking my upgrade over the last year. As soon as my latest addition, a whitetail bristletooth tang, is finished with qt, I'm going to start the search for my final addition(s).

The tank is a 235 gallon corner bowfront. The chord of the bow is 5' 4" and the sides are about 3' from the front to the overflow. There is a good amount of open swimming space and always will be, due to the shape of the rockwork.

The current stock in the tank are:

1 yellow tang
1 one spot foxface
1 resplendent anthias
1 green chromis
1 carpenter's flasher wrasse
1 lubbock's fairy wrasse
1 "engineer goby"
1 green mandarin
2 ocellaris clowns
3 pyjama cardinals
1 whitetail bristletooth tang (shortly)

I'm only interested in fish that can live out their lives in relative comfort. I believe this precludes my wife's desire, which is a regal tang. It may also put the kibosh on one of my desired fish, a powder blue tang.

So, I'm taking suggestions. Some of the short list contenders are:

A powder blue tang
A flame angel (or possibly a pair)
A pyramid butterfly
A female green mandarin
Trying again to add 4 more resplendent anthias
A scott's fairy wrasse (or similar)

I realize some of these fish may present a problem with current stock, I'm willing to take a calculated risk, but am unwilling to try to reinvent the fish compatibility wheel. If you've read this far, thanks, and let's hear your suggestions.

I would think your tank could easily support three tangs. I've always loved powder blues, but never kept one. I've heard they can be tricky, but with a larger tank like that, there should be plenty of room for the tangs to work things out.

My flame is angel is maybe my favorite fish. Always active, picking at rocks, eats well and never bothers other fish. I know they can nip at corals, mine hasn't, but it is a risk. Potters angels are amazing fish as well, but more difficult than flames. I think a flame pair would be awesome.

Assuming you have the pods, and you probably do in a talk like that with a fuge, mandarins are awesome.

My only recommendation would perhaps a Halichoeres wrasse, since you already have a flasher and fairy wrasse. I love melanarus, Vrolik's and yellow (canary) wrasses. They are so fun to watch - always cruising around with a real sense of purpose. Like hunters almost. They do eat shrimp (or at least mine have), but these are awesome fish. There could be some aggression between the wrasses, but I've kept a melanarus and a fairy wrasse without any problems.

Wish I had 235 gallons to play with!

for something completely different (and if you don't keep any shrimp), a pair of longnose hawkfish are fun to watch. while they do more perching than swimming, they are loaded with personality!

I love hawkish, but I've always kept a pair of cleaner shrimp and several peppermints. I don't know how much cleaning they actually do, but I think my fish appreciate the plankton their breeding provides. If I ever succeed in talking my wife into an office tank, a hawkfish is on the short list.

That vrolik's is a striking fish, is it too great a risk with the cleaners?

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming!
