Taking The Plunge Tomorrow!

When you came in we were already there. I had on a white shirt black pants I have really long dark blonde hair. Collin was wearing a grey baseball cap

And the toadstools are doing very well. Still have to move the little guy. Scary!

Shrimp is hiding in the back too so no pics of him.

Really want to redo the rock work so that there isn't as much access and openness in the back because we can't see them when they decide to hide :(

The bigger frag isn't opening all the way.

Everyone is doing perfect. The clowns started eating some of the algae disc I put in yesterday.

The shrimp is off hanging out with the emerald crab I think.

The other inverts are all kinda slowed down...not sure why but hopefully nothing bad. lol the first hour was a panic attack. I was so scared the fish or shrimp were going to go belly-up for some reason. They didn't though! Yay! Now gotta wait for the ammonia spike...

By the way is the chemi-pure gonna polish the water at all? Should i lay it in the tray where you would put the filter pad cuz i just kind of have it in the chamber right now & it looks worse than before! Still need to get some more supplies that will probably help with that issue though.

It was a good day!

They're saying "Whoa....that's a big butt" hehe - another Nemo reference. :D

I love the clowns Speph! I'm happy to see the toadstools are doing well. You might want to consider separating them soon before they get bigger.

Howww??? We want to separate them very soon and would have already but I'm not confident in knowing how to do it?

By the way - thanks for the tubing! I had forgotten about it and forgot to grab it off my desk this afternoon. Will def do so tomorrow. Were you able to test my water?

In this case it's very easy. You're not actually fragging the coral itself. Just cut the frag plate in half with a pair of CLEAN dikes, making sure you keep enough of the plate on each side to glue to a rock (doesn't have to be much). The plate is relatively brittle. You can whittle away at the plate so just the base of the stool is left. Then squirt some Super Glue Gel (not liquid super glue) on the bottom of the frag plate and put it in the tank on a rock in its final resting place, hold it for a minute or so and your done.

I didn't have a chance to get to my fathers to get your water tested. I'll check it out tomorrow for you.:smokin:
