Re bubble algae---I've had a really bad crop of it really charm visitors, who think it a lovely texture, and ignore all the wonders of the tank to praise the green jewels...they particularly admire the large ones.
I think your tank picture looks just fine. You have live rock and have experienced the package which comes with that - hitchers and algae etc. (the natural look).
