tall softy

I have an area of my tank I will be looking for a softy to fill. I would like one that grows fairly tall, and it can certainly be wide as well.
I was thinking Colt or Toadstool leather - not sure if those fit the bill or not.
Suggestions?

SPS will be present in the tank, though not in the line of flow of this spot.

think you have answered your question.both are nice my colt looks beautiful when extended tall and spreads out toadstool slightly more upright and nice again

I would go with the colt coral. They get HUGE. Kenyas self propogate and its annoying to have tons of frag babies all over the tank. I have this problem right now. You could also look into gorgonians.

i vote for NEVER putting corky sea finger in your aquarium, unless its the only thing you want in there, but by your description it doesn't sound like the encrusting corky ive seen. Look up the ORA gorgonian, i forget what the species is but it looks like a sea pen

This pic was two weeks ago, my colt is now touching the power head. It sways so nicely.
