Tamarin wrasse $1299.99??

In the divers den section on liveaquaria.com there is a Tamarin wrasse female for 1300 dollar's am i missing something here or what? I did some googling but could not find much just that they are near impossible to keep alive. just something to talk about i guess.

the price isn't a typo and Anampses spp. wrasses are a challange to keep alive in captivity

yes they are awesome and very pricey but well worth it IF you can keep him alive ! very difficult but if your looking for one thats the one to get as DD really does their homework in getting specimines ready for aquarium life .
anyway i still will be passing and honestly it is my #1 on my fish list .

LOL you ain't kidding, My wife would cut off my you no what's if i spent 1300 on a fish. Let alone if it died on top of it.

been there done that but not on such a delicate fish . Hawain dragon morey $1500.00 and my wife loved it as thats what i purchased the day before her birthday and i was out of cash so she got zip . shes the coolest

Is this the going price for this fish? On the main forum a guy said he bought one for 250. It is a very pretty fish. and so is the yellow belly.

$250 is a steal as i have not seen one for that price in my 18 yrs looking .
gary , i think you just jinxed me i was so proud of having a twisti and it seems as though when i looked in my tank i cant find him .hmmmmmm may be a bad day for him and he is just hiding or it may be a real bad day for him and he died . i will have to look around a bit here .
