Hey guys opinion on this lens? Great reviews at a great price.

This will be for my Nikon D5100.

Nice lens. Not quite the Nikon 105, but very sharp. Are you buying new? Make sure there's a motor in the lens. I think your camera needs one.

Yes has the AF motor. Buying new.

It is a fine lens and you will be very happy with it. My wife owns the lens and I've put it through some paces on my D200. My wife also has the D5100 and the lens performs well on it. Buy with confidence and enjoy!

It has a motor and works well. I use it to shoot my tank and wedding portraits. I used in on a D300 and D5000 body.
