Tan bta

I recieved a call from my lfs saying he had just got some rbta's, I bought one,came home aclimated,and put in tank. He moved a little bit from initial placement but has settled in nicely. he has nice bubbles and looks healthy.problem is he is not RED he is TAN. I cant find much info on brown btas. Is this something that will change over time in my tank?
ps. anytime I take a pic of it the pic comes out sorta purple.

Was it red when you bought it? If so it can be red again. How long have you had it?
