Tang body fungus?

I recently purchased this gorgeous Dussumeri tang and he went into my QT. The LFS mentioned he had quarreled with a clown tang and had some slight damage. After about 3 days I see what's looking like a fungus on his side and mouth. Anyone can ID this and how to treat. Thanks

if that is where he as previously damaged excellent chance it is a fungal or bacterial infection. I usually treat with pimafix and melafix to start.. pretty safe but smells bad. if they don't clear it up other antifungal/bacterial medication would be needed..

keep an eye on it, let us know if it changes or spreads.
